About Us
Welcome to Chilliwack Counselling Centre. If you have any questions after reading this information please feel free to contact us. Chilliwack Counselling Centre has provided professional counselling services to our community since 1980. Our therapists are registered with professional counselling associations and have obtained at least a Masters Degree in Counselling. Our counsellors receive regular supervision from an independent professionally recognized, AAMFT approved supervisor, and they participate in continuing education for ongoing professional development. Each member of the team shares a common worldview and faith in God, and is committed to a lifestyle reflecting these values. As a client of Chilliwack Counselling Centre, it is not necessary for you to share this point of view. We will respectfully meet you wherever you are on your spiritual journey. All clients are welcomed and treated fairly regardless of age, gender, race or religion.

Why Counselling?
Many who come for counselling are in the midst of a crisis or have experienced difficulties that are hard to overcome. They want to move ahead in their lives but feel stuck. Counselling offers clients an opportunity to talk to someone who can help them sort out these difficult life situations in a constructive way, while respecting confidentiality and providing a safe, nonjudgmental place to express their concerns.

What To Expect
During the first few sessions, the therapist will work with you to (1) clarify what you would like to see happen as a result of coming to counselling and to (2) gather any information that will help put together a proposed plan for your therapy during the remaining sessions. In a series of conversations (sessions) that last approximate 50 minutes, once a week or every two weeks, the therapist will seek to help you work through the concerns that you bring.

Client Fees
It is our desire to provide professional and affordable counselling for everyone. Our present fee is $75.00 per counselling session. Please talk to our receptionist if there is any obstacle that you may have in paying our fee-for-service. You may find other sources of funding or support through Employee Assistance Programs, your extended benefits, other public or private agencies or your local church, friends or family. We accept cash, cheques, Visa or MasterCard.
